Not the start of a bad joke, but how we ended up here.

Glasgow Live Productions (GLP) is a Glasgow based, amateur theatre company founded in 2015 by two friends who wanted to bring contemporary theatre to a Glasgow audience. Fast-forward to today and we’ve produced over ten shows, numerous cabaret evenings, and an annual musical theatre quiz & concert.

We became a Scottish Registered Charity (SC046459) in 2016 with the purpose of “advancing the arts for the local community”. Through this, we aim to provide quality experiences for both our members and audiences whether that be on-stage or off, creating the best theatre we possibly can.

We usually produce our main show in late Summer/early Autumn, host a musical theatre themed quiz in late Spring, and regularly hold smaller fundraising concerts and cabarets across the year.
